About Us

Loopy Looks Costumes was started from home as a part time business by Marilyn and David Grose in April 1998 with 250 costumes.  In 1999 they bought an additional 3000 costumes and relocated to their existing premises on the Tamar View Industrial Estate to cater for customers within Cornwall as well as those coming from Plymouth, Devon.                                    

MARILYN

I have been personally involved in amateur theatrical work with Saltash Operatic Society and Youngstagers Youth Theatre Group for over 40 years.  This has given me a wealth of experience when it comes to helping my customers achieve the 'complete look'  with costumes, accessories and makeup for either Fancy Dress parties or Theatrical performances. 

I believe in good Customer Service and love meeting new people as well as welcoming back all my many satisfied customers who come back as soon as they have their next 'performance' to prepare for          

MAUREEN -  has been Wardrobe Mistress since the business started and has many years personal experience in the same role with Youngstagers.  She has won numerous Awards for Costume Design and is also fully trained and very experienced in Face Painting and Theatrical Makeup.

BETHANY - has been with the company for nearly 5 years.  She is very experienced in all areas of the business.  She is a fully trained and very experienced Face Painter and has completed her Theatrical Makeup training.
